On our first evening foray into town, we avoided the rooftop restaurants and found this one at street-level. Much warmer down there and more to watch once the sun went down. We also chose it as we could sit on cushions and carpets outside the front on the street. We still had to take our shoes off. Hippy-style. More Raki was drunk.

The food was served in clay urns that the waiter would crack open with a hammer. The mezze appetizers were fantastic and their flatbread was fabulous. The main course was a bit disappointing as it was very bland, goulash-like. We were expecting something more savoury!
