Arriving at the hotel well past midnight, we were greated by all the hotel staff who were waiting for us even though our arrival was delayed by an hour. We were offered a cocktail while the staff took our bags to our rooms. As we were the first batch of people to arrive after extensive renovations to the hotel, they were eager to show it off and start their season off with a bang. After a four hour flight and a 2.5 hour bus ride, we were eager for bed. It was a stunning reception nonetheless.
